About
Indieyardsale is a black-owned business owned and ran solely by me, Indigo Abena.
I was inspired to start indieyardsale by my first love's encouragement to take my craft public as well as a background in my family's handcrafted jewelry business (retired/ended circa 2007). Indieyardsale began in 2015 after several months of homelessness as a means to support myself through those next 2 years on the street and now into a new chapter as I am renting and building a life for myself. It's served as a reminder that we are never without worth in this world and that there is always something we can offer others. Through the art of expression and exchange, I've been blessed to be able to manage the darkest point in my life and find hope in the spreading of my art and the love of an ever-changing craft. Thank you for every bit of support you all provide whether verbal or physical, it inspires me to continue crafting and challenge myself to explore new realms in the arts I already feel so kin to. Please continue to support me on my journey to success as you feel lead.
As far as personal details: I'm a pan-afrikan, afro-cuban & queer indigenous femme gender~fluid healer with a skill set in crafting, dream interpretation, oracle card readings, art and music. I'm 21 years old and currently live in Philly, where my only work right now is freelance healing work, which I plan to spend the rest of my life doing. I'm available for in-person readings locally as well as over skype and by phone or email. Healing work is and has always been my passion. Please support as you can.
Bless,
Indigo
